Semantic Web Standards

چکیده
Semantic Web is set to become the future because it makes the understanding between humans and machines easy. In this paperSemantic Web Standards, such as RDF and OWL, the current semantic developing languages, are going to be examined. Before talking about those two languages, Semantic Web will be introduced, along with its related vocabularies, which enable the construction of the Semantic Web, and how the Linked Data is developed and deployed has to be explained. Deeper into the paper Inference property of Semantic technologies is going to be introduced as well as a framework where ontologies can be created and also reasoned. Everything in this paper has been joined with some examples so that a better understanding is possible. Finally, what has been done so far is explained through a semantic-technology-based application as well as what the future outlooks of this technology are within Smart Home application.

An Executive Approach Based On the Production of Fuzzy Ontology Using the Semantic Web Rule Language Method (SWRL)
Today, the need to deal with ambiguous information in semantic web languages is increasing. Ontology is an important part of the W3C standards for the semantic web, used to define a conceptual standard vocabulary for the exchange of data between systems, the provision of reusable databases, and the facilitation of collaboration across multiple systems. However, classical ontology is not enough ...
متن کاملSecurity standards for the semantic web
This paper first describes the developments in standards for the semantic web and then describes standards for secure semantic web. In particular XML security, RDF security, and secure information integration and trust on the semantic web are discussed. Some details of our research on access control and dissemination of XML documents are also given. Next privacy issues for the semantic web are ...
متن کاملAHP Techniques for Trust Evaluation in Semantic Web
The increasing reliance on information gathered from the web and other internet technologies raise the issue of trust. Through the development of semantic Web, One major difficulty is that, by its very nature, the semantic web is a large, uncensored system to which anyone may contribute. This raises the question of how much credence to give each resource. Each user knows the trustworthiness of ...
متن کاملA procedure for Web Service Selection Using WS-Policy Semantic Matching
In general, Policy-based approaches play an important role in the management of web services, for instance, in the choice of semantic web service and quality of services (QoS) in particular. The present research work illustrates a procedure for the web service selection among functionality similar web services based on WS-Policy semantic matching. In this study, the procedure of WS-Policy publi...
متن کاملSemantic Web Architecture
The Semantic Web extends the existing Web, adding a multitude of language standards and software components to give humans and machines direct access to data. The chapter starts with deriving the architecture of the Semantic Web as a whole from first principles, followed by a presentation of Web standards underpinning the Semantic Web that are used for data publishing, querying and reasoning. F...
متن کاملStandards for image annotation using Semantic Web
The impetus behind Semantic Web research remains the vision of supplementing availability with utility; that is, the World Wide Web provides availability of digital media, but the Semantic Web will allow presently available digital media to be used in unseen ways. An example of such an application is multimedia retrieval. At present, there are vast amounts of digital media available on the web....
